Gullible Christians in Mega Churches

     This always bothers me. I mean it bothers me to the core! Now there are a lot of good mega churches around the world, but unfortunately there are a ton that are not so good. Even right here in the good ole United States. You have churches like the one that Bishop Eddie Long is over where sexual sins within the church are ongoing. You have other churches where the teachings is not really what the word of God says. You may ask why is this guy picking on mega churches? Well here's why... I have been learning that some of these type churches make up things that are not even bible based! Yes it is true. I've watched hours of videos regarding this issue and saw for myself. Not just that but you hear to much about prosperity! They teach too much on prosperity gospel than teaching how to enter into the gates of heaven seeing how multitudes of people will not make it into heaven.

 Matthew 7:14-17

 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
 15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

     It's sad to watch these famous well known preachers teach that type of gospel while having the church come and toss money on the stage. Then I watched two well know preachers in the south running together back and forth across the stage while dancing on the money covered stage howling!!! Yes it is true! Then these type of preachers will give a scripture across the monitor in reference to the subject being taught. When you go to look it up, to my surprise it has nothing to do with the subject. Could have they just made a simple error?? NO! Why? 1) they had plenty of time to do their research on the particular subject, 2) the subject has nothing to do with the particular scripture, 3) you can see where they actually twisted scriptures to get people to believe it. It is so sad that so many people believe everything these pastors say without doing their own research! Every time the pastor quotes a few words or anything, the church is always saying, AMEN, AMEN! People take notes in church but don't actually go home and study those scriptures. So how do you know that he or she is teaching right? How do you know if the word is being twisted? How do you know that you are truly being taught right? When the news broke regarding Eddie Long I was really bothered by the fact that a news station down in Atlanta interviewed three church members and they all were talking about how Eddie Long did nothing wrong and how he wouldn't have sexual relations with other people, and how they stand by him no matter what??? WOW! So just because Eddie is a well know mega church pastor, you would just automatically assume that he is right and the four young men is wrong. So being in the national spotlight makes you right? We assume because they are huge mega churches then that makes them legit? If you are truly a born-again Christian then you should know that satan comes to church. The huge churches are the very ones that he is trying to destroy. People think because they are on t.v then the word that they preach is true! Mega churches are big and rich and when you are rich it is even harder to serve God. It's the truth. When some people don't have any money, down and out then they are praying away to God asking for a financial blessing. God loves is great so He blesses you with a job and money. So you are just way to busy working and spending your new money building up your bank account and just forget about God because you feel like you really have no reason to talk to God because you got what you need. I'm so tired of people coming to me saying well I don't know if you are saved or not but you should listen to C. Dollar, or some of these other mega preachers. The preachers that people seem to suggest I watch are the ones who I have researched, watch their videos and learned that there was a reason why I never could get into them in the first place. God has never had me to watch them. Now in Dollars church watching the whole church chanting "MONEY COMETH TO ME RIGHT NOW!! MONEY COMETH TO ME RIGHT NOW!! They all had their arms extended out towards the pastor while money covered the stage. Is this what our churches are teaching about? Money? What about who to live for Christ? What about how to walk with Christ? How about how to make it into heaven and keep from going to hell seeing how it is so easy to make it to hell.  Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. I'm so tired of hearing these mega churches preaching prosperity. Again these gullible Christians believe anything that these preachers say. They don't do their own research. We are so stuck on these preachers because they are popular that when evidence presence itself then we just ignore it and say that it's just satan trying to take the preacher down! Listen I am not trying to offend anyone if these happen to be your pastors. I am telling the whole truth and I have done my research. I have seen and heard this mess of twisting scripture, prosperity preaching and more with my very own God given eyes and ears. Don't you know that satan is a deceiver and will try and trick you by giving you false teachings? Don't you know that satan will try and taint God's word? 


2 Peter 2:1-3    1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. Again we are so blinded and so stuck on popularity. Saying amen every few minutes but half the time we don't know why we are saying it. Why does some of the mega preachers need so many million dollar private jets? I can see having one but more than that? We follow popularity without ever doing our own research. I was one of those people until I listen to God and opened my eyes. Again not saying that all our like that but a whole lot of them are. Don't you want to be at a church where they truly care about your soul? Man people just don't understand that we only get one shot at life and after that it is too late, judgement is set. Wake up Christians! Wake up!

DON'T GET MAD AT ME FOR TELLING THE TRUTH! People do things right under our nose that is not right but because of popularity we ignore it. Many of you need to have real discernment!

Follower of Christ Jesus or not?

     I have to place myself in the mix here because I was always a part of this crowd. The crowd that I'm speaking about are the people who call themselves Christians/followers of Christ. Man here I was for years so quick to say "Hey I'm a Christian!" when I was just as worldly as they come. Living my life full of drama, tainted mouth, rolling up in the worldly hot spots trying to be like everyone else when deep down in my spirit I knew that this was not me at all. So there were church services that I attended on Sundays, but it wasn't every Sunday. I thought I was doing just fine picking up the bible reading a few versus here and there along with some hit or miss prayers. But come on here, I couldn't ignore the fact that God was talking to me, and tugging at me. I was the type of person who picked and choose the scriptures that I wanted to live by. Does any of this sound like you? So many of us call ourselves Christians when the way we live is not Christ-like. Christian is just another name for disciple meaning "follower of Christ". You know it's funny but it's not funny when I read profiles on different social networking sites listing all of their worldly things that they are into. Then under religion, CHRISTIAN is listed?! For one, Christianity is not a religion. If it really means a follower of Christ which is based on real whole kingdom living according to the word of God (THE BIBLE) then God is not a religion seeing how He created us. If you call God a religion then you are saying that your mother and father are a religion! Get where I'm coming from? I know that there is not a perfect soul, and we all make mistakes, have sinned and fell short of the Glory, but a lot of us Christian claimers are not even trying or trying hard enough. The reason why a lot of people are not even trying is because they think that they're not sinning and by attending church every Sunday then they're good! Then you can't tell Christians a "STINKIN THING". People get so offended because they claim to know the bible so well, you don't need to tell them any wrong doings. A lot of Christians do know the bible very well, but I would list that under "scripture memorization". They can quote the word up and down, all day long, and all though the town, but have not one idea of what it means. Why? Because they don't study. I will get into that in another subject. I have more respect for the one's who live worldly while not claiming to be men and women of God.


James 1:22-25 (New King James Version)


22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Are you a follower of Christ or not??

Vainglory

     All my life I have attended church services, bible school, and various classes. There have also been many, many times that I didn't attend church and was also a backslidden christian. One thing about me is that I'm not ashamed to admit wrong doings in my life and believe you me there were a lot of bad things that I've done in my life. To be able to admit and tell others about it when lead by the Holy Spirit I believe that it can help others out in their walk with Yeshua (Jesus). We all as one race under God should be able to share life experiences with others.

     There is a major issue here that really annoys me. Many people who call themselves Christians have gone too far. What I mean is, that we are always trying to let everyone know what are title is, who we are going to minister to, who we are going to pray for, who we are going to preach to. Then we quote all of the bible scriptures while so quick to tell other what they are doing wrong! As soon as one Christian messes up, sins, etc then we are so quick to look down on them and judge! Really? WOW!
So my question is why do Christians do that? I'm not talking about Catholics, or anyone else I'm talking about Christians. Are they really doing these things in Jesus name or are they doing it in their own name? So many people are doing it for their own glory and not for God. Some cases I hear people every 5 minutes talking about what they did at their church, who they prayed for, who they are going to be preaching with, and none of it sounds like it is for the glory of God. But how is sounds connects with my spirit and my spirit tells me that it all is done in vainglory! Now there are a minority of Christians who honestly don't do what I just stated. The rest do it for the wrong reasons. People want to be big, throw their titles around and even give themselves titles that was not from God  


Matthew 22:14 ...'For many are called, but few are chosen.' 

     Those Christians want attention and praise. It's one thing for someone to ask you a question regarding your gift (if you truly have that specific gift that you claim to have) than to go every few minutes talking about who you are going to minister to or who you just laid hands on.
Now let me stand corrected because I am not saying that you can't at all let it be known of what went on during the ministry or outreach, but it is the way that you do it and the intentions behind it. Instead of always saying what you did during a service why don't you say what God did and how God moved. Stop giving yourself all of the glory when the glory doesn't belong to you?  Philippians 2:3  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

So in conclusion, check your intentions and make sure that you are really doing things for God and not so that you can get glory from others.
